Value of Colt Mark III?

It is well worn and scratched in some areas, but the gun seems sound otherwise. What is the value?

I saw a 6 in. Trooper Mk III at a gunshow Sunday. Asking price was $495, but it was near mint.

Depending on your definition of well worn I think the price is about $50 to $75 to high.

I got a 2" Mk III Lawman in a CA gunshop for $225. It was used but in good shape and it's an excellent shooter for a snubby. It doesn't have the ejector rod shroud like the other ones I've seen, but I've never been able to find out if that makes it more valuable or less. You can use that for comparison, but from what I've seen $300 is probably the high end of the price range.

The Lawman was the bare bones entry level Colt service revolver. I don't think they ever had a shouded ejector rod in that model. They were tough little guns though.
