I have couple questions about AK-47 kit guns........

1) What could I sale a Romanian all numbers matching AK-47 parts kit for? Only seen kits without the barrel. Also, have a completed receiver to go with it. Drilled and heat treated.

2) My AK (kit gun) doesn't lock back when magazine is empty? Should it?

3) Why is the extractor holding on to the spent casing? Note that I haven't cleaned all the parts yet. So there are probably some metal shavings. Thought that this could be causing the problem.

Jeez, these days? Not sure, but you could check the For Sale sections at the AK-specific sites like www.akfiles.com and see what the current market price is.

Nope. Not unless you're using one of the unusual magazines designed to catch the bolt after the last round. But they're half-useless because the bolt will slam shut as soon as you remove the empty mag.

Holding onto? You mean it isn't ejecting the spent shell? Can you take a picture of what the ejector looks like? There should be no way for the bolt to come all the way back and still have the shell with it.

Sam,

Sorry, no picture right now.... But the empty case gets stuck and doesn't eject. But another round will start to chamber. The bolt carrier won't go all the way forward because of empty case.

Was shooting the cheap Asia ammo.
