Vault door

First off my collection.... if you can call it that, may not warrant the use of a vault.... but I'm looking ahead, well ahead.

I'm looking for someone who has some experience with any of the manufacturers out there. I've narrowed it down to a few but haven't ordered anything yet. Here's who I've got it down to~

Ft. Knox DEFENDER 8240 @ $3200 (no shipping needed)

Private Security Products, Armory Vault door @ $3100 ~ (this includes shipping)

Sportsman's steel safes ~ Decided after talking with the owner that he seemed like someone I didn't care to do business with.... just didn't get a good feeling there. I can't say anything bad about his product though.

Does anyone have any good input here? It looks like I'm leaning to the PSP door. Has anyone here dealt with that company? Thanks guys ~Wingnut13

I'll suggest going to: www.graffundersafes.com or www.brownsafe.com. Research both sites, both offer good information. Both companies offer true vault doors also, not something masquerading as one. However, a product from either company will be in excess of the numbers you've mentioned above. IMHO though, you'll get about 500% better protection with either for about half again as much money. If you'll do the research, I think you'll find that the 500% is not some stretch of my imagination either.

900F Thanks for the info but wow, those doors are no joke. They are some pricey doors, not to say they aren't worth it.... Just not for me right now. If I end up with some amazing collection some day I'll be able to upgrade the door then as well. Again thanks for the input. ~Wingnut13
