The Virginia Citizens' Defense League's latest newsletter proposed having regional meetings so members could get together more frequently. They need folks to start the ball rolling, and I'm thinking of stepping up to the plate. Any VCDL members in Wmsbg, Newport News, Hampton, James City Co., York Co., Grafton, etc., who would be interested?
If so, I'm looking for input on what day of the week, how long, how often, etc. I'm looking to do something that works and is useful. It will require coordinating a location, providing notice to newspapers, arranging guest speakers, probably maintaining an email newsletter and contact list, etc.
I would welcome any input.
