buddy of mine has one of their handguns; he knows they were recalled, but can't find a site or contact info to turn it back in.

Is the company kaput? can he still get the refund they offered from someone? Don't know where he bought it. thanks

You asking about Vector Arms (US mfg.) or Vektor Arms (South African mfg.)?

Vector Arms made Uzi clones, HK93 clones, HK94 clones, AK clones and RPD clones.
Vector Arms had legal troubles (H&K lawsuit & US Gov fines), closed shop for awhile. But, recently re-opened doing limited stuff (only Uzi clones).

Vektor Arms imported some of their handguns (CP-1 & SP-1) into the USA during the 1990s.
After a few recalls, Vektor Arms stopped importing the handguns.
Vektor Arms currently manufactures the small arms used by the South African military.

Good lord don't sell it that cheap. They are pretty collectable for that very reason.
