Rather than poach on the existing vehicle pistol box threads, I decided to start a new thread. I have one of the COM pistol boxes for my car and am reasonably pleased with it, except for having to keep track of the key. But I like the reliability of a mechanical combination lock (without any batteries or any electronic components). I have done some Googling, and have not really found much that would fit under a car seat. There are many combination lock boxes and safes available, but most of them are pretty large. And yes, I have seen the safe from R&D Enterprises, but those are still larger than I am looking for.
So does anyone have any ideas for a reasonably secure lockbox or safe with a mechanical combination lock that will fit under a car seat? Thanks for all suggestions.
