I was planning to go compete (HP Service Rifle) this year for the first time, but had conflicts. All I can do is to go Saturday and Sunday 4 & 5 August to look around and see what it is all about in person.

I understand that there usually are a number of vendors showing their goods, but wondered about the possibility of buying a rifle; more specifically, a RRA NM AR15A4. I have an A2 which I really like, and would like to also have the A4.

I suspect that Rock River Arms will be there, but have not been able to ascertain whether they will have rifles for sale, or, perhaps other vendors that would.

Does anyone know how it is this year ?

Thanks!!

I was there Sat and Sun for the CMP Sporter match.

RR was there in conjunction with Fin Feather Fur, a private outdoor shop (larger than most gun/outdoor shops that aren't chains). FFF Are located in Ashland, OH between Cleveland and Columbus. They were selling quite a few ARs but I didn't closely look at any of them. (I'm pretty sure it was RR but could have been Armalite as they were there too, IIRC.) The vendors are each given buildings to set up shop. Springfield hada building but they were closed for a period of time as the only things going on at that time were rimfire disciplines and they don't sell much of anything that supports that. Champion's Choice and Champion Shooters were there competing with one another. Brenzovich was there also in conjunction with 10X. Not sure if there were other vendors somewhere on base as I didn't look around much. Nice displays of some military hardware (M1A tank, AH1S, Huey, etc.).

(Had Springfield been open, I would have been hard press to prevent myself from buying an M1A.)
