A company in Texas is making stock adapters for the Vepr, so we can now all put our own type of straight or folding stocks on our Veprs. After clicking on their url scroll to the bottom of their home page to image gallery and click on it. When the next page comes up scroll down to the 8th line and you will find VEPR STOCK ADAPTERS and click on it. I'am not affilated with this company in any way but offering a service to fellow Vepr owners. I found this information out by web surfing and clicking on a link. I phoned this company and asked about price and availabilty $65.00 and presently out of stock because of the large demand for this product.

Your web site is horrible, it's hard to read and too dark.
No where on the link you provided does it say anything about VEPRs'

You are a no-go at this station.

That's just not true! I saw a picture of the adapter in the photo gallery. :neener:

Price who knows?

This post belongs in the gear area - I really dislike troller's like this type of dick. TR joins the forum so he can pimp his freakin product with his first post to his half assed web site that looks as if it was designed in jr. high - well really not that good. None of my business will ever come the way of tac the hack response. Just my opinion - however.

Vepr Dislike

After reading the responses to my post I can see that there are a lot of members on this post that are attacking me because of their dislike for the Vepr. Because of it's quality? Because it's the most accurate AK currently on the market out of the box? Making slanderous and childish remarks against me because you don't like the Vepr is something almost every reader will be able to see through.

No one here dislikes the Vepr. Do a search. You'll find that it gets talked up a lot. I can't remember anyone saying anything negative about the Vepr.

People jumped on you because: (1) your post is clearly commercial, which is a violation of the rules/etiquette for this forum; and (2) it sends people to a website that is poorly designed.

I'm sure lots of people here at THR would be interested in an adapter that lets conventional AK stocks be used on the Vepr. You've simply chosen a very inappropriate method of promoting it. Your most recent post isn't helping, and you certainly aren't likely to sell any product here with an attitude like that.

My advice: delete your posts. Both of them. Spend some time on THR getting to knows its users and etiquette. If you're going to post anything of a commercial nature, do it in the Classifieds section and follow the rules of those sections.

Countdown 'til a mod locks or deletes this thread: 5 ... 4 ... 3 ... 2 ...

FYI....

They are called VERPS....not VEPRS....everybody here on THR knows that.

Wow. That's about the dumbest and most childish post I've ever seen on THR

I disagree. Salty's post far "outchild's" anything I've seen lately.

The Whole Point Is Being Missed

For years Vepr owners have wanted an adapter so that they could have different stock options. I simply found the site and posted it to let people know that it was being made. Should I have posted it to the commerical site according to this forums rules? apparently so. For the second time I do not own this company or am I making any money from this product. I do not know anyone that is remotely associated with this business. I only posted the url so that Vepr owners like myself would know where to purchase one. I consider the original post to be of a public service message for Vepr owners. I tried to help Vepr owners on this post by telling them about a new product and I'am attacked for it? :banghead:

Well, TR, if this thread isn't blatant commercial spam (which is against THR rules) it certainly smells spammy. Since this is your first post, and it is obviously trying to sell a product, it looks like spam.

As for dislike of the Vepr, I don't think so. Veprs are actually very popular on this forum, with many of us who use them. I own several.

As for the stock itself, it appears that you have to chop the stock tang off of the receiver to use it. No thanks.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and leave this thread open.
