anyone ever use this... do you like it ? was just wondering how long it is when it's folded up against the barrel, and how far away from the barrel it is, or how much clearance there is between the barrel and the legs when folded and also how long it is when it's folded up. I'm thinking of mounting it on my marlin 1895 .45-70 lever action primarily for big game hunting and predator hunting... I do most of my hunting sitting on the ground usually on a tree or rock or log.. so I figured a nice bipod would help me out a lot but I also don't want to reduce the quick handling nature of a marlin .45-70. I'm wondering if it will bump against the mag tube?
