I recently traded a rifle (Sig 556) I had for a PTR 91. I like it allot! Very solid if maybe a bit heavy.
This is a PTR 91 made by JLD it has a low serial number A05xx. The rifle was built in 2000. It has no flash hider, I was told it was built with out one because of the asw ban. Even though its a nine year old rifle it looks great.
At the range it performed flawlessly. I fired about 40 rounds of Brown bear 308 through it. Also the recoil was not bad at all. No worse than any other 308 rifle I have shot. I currently have 2 others a PBR 308 and M1A.
I think this one is a winner. I'm going to add a mount and scope when the budget opens up some.
