With my new M1A scout! I shot 3 different loads today, first was magtech 150 commercial ammo witch yielded a 5 inch group or so, then I shot 44gr. IMR 4895, in new Winchester cases with CCI200 primers and 147 gr. Milsurp FMJ bullets and had 1.5" groups at 50 yards, and finished with 42 grains of IMR3031, Winchester Cases, CCI200 primers and milsurp 147gr. FMJ bullets. That also got me 1.5 groups although it shot a little higher. At 100 yards I did better with the 3031 but the grouping was probably my shooting rather than the loads. All in all it was a great day out with my new rifle for the first time, and it shot far better than my scoped 30-06 Mauser any day..
