Very specific request re IMR 4227 & .454

I have a new (to me) Freedom Arms .454 that I need to feed. I also have access to a quantity of IMR 4227 powder and am looking for loads.

I have found Ruger level loads for IMR 4227 in .45 Colt AND I have found plenty of data for the .454 using H 4227, but I can't find the .454 loads with the IMR 4227.

If you have loads you have used and/or if you have a link to data for the above, please pass it on. Thanks!

Haven't used anything but 2400 in the 454 but have a load in Speer #11 using 260JHP and IMR 4227.

33.0 for 1681 and Max 35.0 for 1752. Sorry, but that is the only data I could find. You will likey the 454!

Both the current Speer and Hornady reloading manuals have loading information for the 454 Casull with IMR 4227. From the Hornady manual:

Bullet: 240 gr. XTP-Mag
IMR 4227 starting: 32.8 gr.
IMR 4227 maximum: 34.8 gr.

Bullet: 300 gr. XTP-Mag
IMR 4227 starting: 28.1 gr.
IMR 4227 maximum: 29.8 gr.

For interest sake, there are also loads listed for the 240 gr. XTP-Mag bullet using H 4227 which are VERY similar to those using IMR 4227.

I have not reloaded for the 454 Casull but do reload for the 460 S&W Magnum. I have tried both IMR 4227 and H110/Win. 296 and found the latter to work best in my gun.
