The video was taken from an escort vehicle, as the convoy cam eunder attack. I have no clue about where or when, but it looks real to me.

See it here.

Interesting video, but I doubt that the camera is in a HUMVEE as the site says. The hood is too shiney. I think it is probably an SUV like the other one in the scene. But that little detail does not detract from the seriousness of the situation.

What was that whining noise? Kind of sounded like a supercharger, but a little too high pitched...

That is an old video taken from a SUV driven by Blackwater Security Personnel. Notice how the vehicle moves up partially to protect the Principle's Vehicle from fire on the right side. If you listen you can also here the adrenalin effects form the operators in the vehicle. Luckily, it w as a small IED that went off. Some of the larger IEDs, will take out 2 or more vehicles, even if not directely underneath when goes off.

Military.com has this posted under their video section, they say it's AFOSI and show some photos of the SUV's after the attack all shot up

Electronic whine, often caused by the alternator. It could have been coming out of the car radio, or generated inside the circuitry of the video camera.

The black Suburban with the tinted windows rides real low, like it's real heavy. Might it be armored?

This hit a little too close to home. My son was wounded in an ambush much like this one about a month ago, and just e-mailed that he is now escorting home the body of a friend killed in Iraq.

I hope the sacrifices that Americans are making for these pathetic people at least let them someday come forth from their dark world into the sunlight of a free nation that doesn't menace its neighbors...or us!

No doubt it is. You'd be crazy to drive around in an unarmored vehicle.
