Video Shows Large Variety of Ukrainian Arms

    The linked video is of a military recruiting event in Ukraine. A huge variety of weapons are displayed. What strikes me is the variety of different weapons but there is some really cool stuff shown. There is what appears to be some type of DMR/sniper rifle at 3:03 which I'm unable to identify.

    Interesting. Looks like they went with the stretched AK (like the Hungarians and Romanians) instead of the SVD.

    Sam, they also show an SVD/PSL or variant at 0:50.

    The gun at 3:03 does indeed appear to be some modern iteration of the AK (perhaps an Izhmash AK-103 or similar?). There is a curve to the magazine, although the rest of the gun has a very "Western" look to it.

    From what I understand, almost all industry (including arms production) lies in Eastern Ukraine (heavily Russian dominated). While Western Ukraine in given over to agricultural (wheat) production.
