Do any of you have experience with VV N105 powder? I would like to use it to load 44 Magnum. I'm using 180gr XTP bullets , Starline Brass and WLP primers. I not trying to load to the max pressures but fairly close. My confusion comes with Hornady vs. VihtaVuori load data. My Hornady load manual says10.9grs. for starting load and 19.2 for maximum. VihtaVuori website load data indicates 19grs. start and 21.6 grs as maximum for the same bullet and N105. I know load manuals can vary and usually do because of powder lot differences and other variable's but the information from Hornady and VV are quite different. Which one should I trust till I can chrono the load?

The powder company has more skin in the game IMO.
Work up to the Hornady max and see if you like something near there. If not, you can work up towards the Vihtavuori max.
N105 should work for what you want. N110 is a better choice IMHO.

I'd like to try N110 but unable to find any locally. Stumbled onto N105 so I grabbed it. Really like it in .357 Mag.
Good to know as I have a Trooper MKIII 6" barrel also as well as a 6" GP100 In .357 mag.
