Looking to see what the consensus is for a fair selling price/going rate for the pistol below from/for a private seller. I know the market will decide the final price; I'm simply asking where I might start, or what will make both parties happy. If asking for value input is verboten, please delete this post.
12" Virgin Valley custom in .22 Hornet.
Overall condition is extremely good, very slight wood handling marks, bore mirror bright, fancy birds-eye wood that I do not know of what species. below are some quick snaps, which would be of better quality when I would be ready to sell. It also has a 2-7x Burris LER scope and rings, that I figure I would sell separately, but if folks think it better to be sold with the pistol I'd do it. I have never fired the pistol, and the previous owner (my uncle who passed away) fired 40 rounds of factory ammo total.
Also wondering if I go the auction route, would you list it at .99 to start, set a reserve, "buy it now" (what price?), etc... Thanks.
