Virginia Gun Ranges Open!

Need to correct the Subject to say "Virginia Gun Range" in the singular!
The court decision applies only to the plaintiff SafeSide and not a general ruling for the governor's range shutdown.
Great disappointment to VCDL and all Virginia gun owners, who hoped it would apply across the board.

As a Virginia resident, I'm glad to know that one or more ranges might be reopening. However, going to a range is way down on my list of priorities right now.

We're not going to get back to normal until a vaccine is found and widely disseminated.

I apologize for the oversight. I might have been a little excited and overlooked some of the information.

I'm glad that AlexanderA mentioned the elephant in the room...an open range does NOT mean we're done fighting this invisible enemy. Like most, I'm continuing to work on finding a practical vs. responsible balance between mental health and public health. We're a community of gun lovers, but we're partof a larger community of people racing to grave. At any rate, my mental health is given energy and light by this news.

As always...shoot straight and stay safe.

It’s a shame that Northam felt indoor ranges for civilian use are entertainment and should remain shutdown...his actions are not surprising. He also took the time to sign gun control atrocities into law in the past month instead of focusing on the pandemic...priorities?

Craig, outdoor ranges are, for the most part, still open.

Thanks, that does help, a bit. With amazingly clever timing, I moved from Virginia 14 months ago, but I am keeping my VCDL membership active, supporting their efforts.

Let me get this straight, it was deemed necessary to list the governor due to the executive order, rather than naming State of Virginia, instead? And, the gov. could retain a state attorney or three at taxpayer expense to mount a defense, since he holds that office? o_O

With many folks’ priorities being reshuffled or distracted, our masters continue to trample on our rights as they intended, not just the 2nd amendment. Though we are in tough times, we must stay vigilant and act when needed!
