Wanted to find out, is there any groups here that train together or know of training that one could partake in? I feel like ive been slacking on training and I know ammo is short atm but you can still drill and train to be ready.

There are still classes available all over the country. If you are looking for "group of like minded people to train with" you're on the wrong forum.

Last time I asked acadians if they wanted to go to the range with me they got upset I owned a gun. Most gamers I've met are too lazy to go shooting when they can do it virtually. I don't understand your problem with wanting to find gamers and medieval enthusiasts who enjoy shooting as well. Sorry for being a gamer and medievalist.....

I don't think you will find many gamers in the ST&T forum. We discuss real self defense and training issues here. We don't talk collective training here. If you're looking to learn team or squad tactics, techniques and procedures you're in the wrong place.

If you're looking for a place to shoot in Virginia there are several members from the area who post here regularly.

I understand that, and I would like to learn to be a better shooter. better able to react to an intruder or self defense on the street. I figured sometimes people will help each other train to critique each other to save money on not having to spend money more then once in a while to take training courses and then use the team training to practice that training.

If you could organize a group of friends interested in advanced training like for example in a shoot house, a training facility might give you a better price than if everybody signed up individually for a pre-organized class. Worth making a few phone calls to ask about group rates.

Would work well if I had any friends down here, Havent been able to make any friends here in VA between work, covid, and a lack of things to do down here.

Whatever range(s) you normally go shooting at, you could likely also make friends.

Another idea, you could try contacting the Virginia Citizens Defense League. Their website is vcdl.org. They do outstanding work for RKBA, it would be worth getting involved with them for that reason alone. Plus if you volunteer with them it would be a great place to make friends. :)

I am not a member on AR15.com but I visited there once or twice and IIRC they had discussion groups for each state, if they still have that you could go to the VA one.

Meanwhile keep your eyes open when reading posts here and look at the identification boxes with the avatars, many members list their location and I know we have quite a few from VA. :)

Already a vcdl member because it's good to support good pro 2a groups.

Also I keep seeing it... *** is RKBA?
