Vortex Strike Eagle 3-18x44mm FFP EBR-7C MRAD Riflescope For $700 what do you think good value?

Hey everyone I am looking at this scope

Vortex Strike Eagle 3-18x44mm FFP EBR-7C MRAD Riflescope I found one for $700 does anyone have any input on it ie is it worth the money? I want to start getting into the more complex Christmas Tree style reticles it would go on a long range savage rig for Hunting and some target shooting out to 1,000 but mainly 800 and in oh the savage is chambered in 6.5x284 Norma

Just looked it up and send there has been a price increase recently. The Strike Eagle is a decent scope but it's getting close in price to the next tier. For 850 you can get a Viper PST Gen2 or a Burris XTR-III. You can pick up the XTR-II for about 500 which is probably a better scope (never compared side by side) than the Strike Eagle but Im not seeing any christmas ttee reticles.

Overall it's a good scope. Just maybe getting too close in price to better optics.
 
Welp looks like a change of Plans I ended up going with a Viper PST Gen II 3-15x44 thank you all for your thoughts here I felt the price was right so I grabbed it Now the Question I have for you all did I do ok on it out the door price to my house was $700
