VP9 9mm

I bought one a while back. I compared it to my Glock 19 and Walther PPQ. The VP9 does have a nice trigger and feels great in hand. But I sold it. My Glock was a more compact 4" barrel 15 round 9mm. The Walther's trigger was just as good, if not better. I preferred the grip of the Walther, it is a little broader on the front. The VP9 was a nice gun that felt good and had a great trigger but it just didn't bring anything new to the table, for me. And it just wasn't cool enough for me to keep my money tied up in it.

Outstanding trigger and ergonomics. Some people love the paddle magazine release, some people hate it. Magazines are expensive. It's one of the two striker-fired pistols I own (the other is a Glock 17) and I'm holding onto both.

I really enjoy mine. Haven't had any negatives with it yet accept that my need for ammunition keeps my wallet empty.

Friend of mine has the VP9. We were at the range and he let me try it along with his PPQ M2.

I much preferred the PPQ to the VP9 as the PPQ has a better trigger and just fit my hand better. I actually liked the PPQ M2 so much, I went out and bought one. The PPQ M2 also can use Canik TP9v2/SA/SF mags.

The VP9 appears to be a quality firearm, but IMO the PPQ M2 is better.
