I note you're in Paris ..... they might be having problems with sending stuff overseas; if they're unsure your laws allow it they may be a little hesitant to ship stuff there.
I'd continue to check though as you atleast deserve an answer and some correction to your problem.

I don't know why they would not reply to your email, but I do know that it is typical for VTI to be waiting for shipments of parts from Italian manufacturers with no clue when those shipments will arrive. I have waited up to 6 months for backorder parts from them. Right now I am waiting for a Loading Lever Retaining lug for a Pietta 1860 Army (the original part literally flew off the gun from its meager slot - that's quality for you!!). I know I'll be waiting for a while, but eventually will get what I ordered. I think VTI is a good merchant operating at the mercy of its suppliers.

I don't know about the situation either, but for an outfit to not respond or inform a customer about there being a backorder or delay since the beginning of the year would seems to be a total lack of communication.
I would inquire with Henry Krank, a large U.K. supplier to see if they have what you need in stock. If they do then why not cancel the order with VTI and go with them. It's not acceptable to not be told about a backorder and to leave you in the dark for such a long time.

i bought from them a couple of years ago. ordered a few parts here and there. Never had any problem they sent them out had the parts in about a week. Not sure hope they still around seems to me instead of an email a phone call should do

Finally the problem was not on their side but on mine.......................

My emailbox was disfunctioning and I did not access to their answers.

It took quite a long time for me to realize the problem but now it is solved

thanks for all

regards

I've also bought a lot of parts from them however one should always email asking if the part is in stock before ordering. I've never waited more than 12 hours for a response to my emails.
