Wa state SBR integral supressor question.

In the state of WA SBR's and SBS's are not legal nor is the firing of a supressed weapon. With this said what would the legality/realistic application of a rifle with a "short" barrel but permanently attached supressor (i.e. aftermarket can welded onto cut down barrel or something similar but nicer) bringing the overall length to the legal 16" be? (Thinking something like 14.5" barrels w/long flash hider welded to barrel) Could something like that be cleaned easily and is it even realistic and legal?

However, even if you can legally get past the state's SBR law, you'd still be prohibited by the state's suppressor law. I believe you could own the can, and even have it mounted on a gun, but firing a round through it would be the violation; unless that law has changed of course.

The supressor law is a fun one. At the range you will commonly see guys shooting supressed guns along side cops. The only time they care is during a BATF raid during which if you're shooting rounds through your supressor you have bigger problems than that incidental law. I'd say write your legislators but with who's currently there, the only change they'd make is to ban them altogether.
