Hello,
I just bought a new pistol, and went through the gun genie. I chose a retailer close by and the one where I am a member at the indoor range.
Here goes, Bought the weapon on a Monday night, weapon was sent out and delivered on Friday by 12:20pm. I was called at 4:00pm to let me know I could pick the weapon up. I live 5 mins away, I was there in 10. Paid for the weapon and filled all paper work out. While the clerk was submitting the paper work she said I was flagged. This always happens, and it has always only taken just a little over an hour form it to clear.
Here is where I would like to know if anyone else has a problem, I was told I should clear in a few days or so. A few days??
Does this sound right, and is there anything I can do to make this process go any faster? I do not buy lots of guns but I do hold a CCP.
This seams a bit long to wait, as I have never had to longer than an hour or so.
I know the weapon type should not matter but it is a Ruger 22/45 .22lr.
