I've been shooting for over 40 years and watching the 2nd ammendment fight for over 30. To this day it astonishes me that neither the NRA or many people involved in the shooting community have really understood how bad things really are.

The shooting community continues to shrink at an alarming rate... and yet it isn't addressed.

The NRA continues on with the same old same old that they have for years, and in actuality, they alienated a hell of a lot of people with the way they've managed the fight...

And yet no one really seems to see how bad things are...

Don't any of you realize that the media has been conditioing the American public for over 20 years now to think that guns are bad!!! Watch the news... hell, watch the movies that have been coming out of Hollywood for years now.. most done by.... you got it.. liberals..

Who directed the Lethal Weapons movies? Anyone need to miss the anti NRA notes??
Anyone think that McTiernan likes guns? Nope... guys he's a flaming liberal..

Anyone pay attention to who was funding CLintons and Gore's campaigns??

WHo out there has really stopped to think how really outgunned we are on the fight to protect the 2nd??

DO you really think there will be an NRA in 30 years?? Even the Bill of Rights are we know it??

Nope... not unless some drastic changes are made and made NOW!!!!

Wake up folks.... worrying about a silly discussion with a liberal is one of the worst wates of time I've been watching for 30 years now... WAKE UP!!

And no, not kidding at all, I work in that media... and what I've been seeing all these years scares the hell out of me..

How many of you got someone new interested in shooting lately??
How many of you got a woman interested? Don't laugh.. BIG VOTING BLOCK!
How many of you refuse to go to action movies because the director or the lead actor is a flaming liberal that hates guns or the 2nd? There's plenty you know...
I can go on, easily.. but time to get serious folks... because we're still loosing.... BADLY! Even all the republican candidates are NOT supporting the 2nd rights!!

No flames just facts.... Thats 50% of the population. And I dont mean looking for a pickup or checking out some babes butt. I mean taking the time to introduce some mom or grandmother to shooting and safety and their options for self defense. Trap, rifle shooting benchrest and pistol shooting.

Ya know, They shoot better than us. They have a more stable platform.

John McTiernan is a movie director. He's done such films as The Hunt for Red October, Eaters of the Dead, and Predator.

The Lethal Weapon movies were directed by Richard Donner.
