Mr. Walkalong doesn't just talk the talk, but has walked the walk and knows what he is talking about. He offers reliable information without talking down to less informed folks like some other mods do. He's welcome to sit by my campfire and I'll pour him my best Scotch.

@Walkalong only puts up with the headache of being a mod for one reason: the pay, the benefits (THR has a great dental plan) and most importantly, the chicks.

Not to quibble but isn't that three reasons?

Money for nuthin' and chicks for free.

I lurked here for probably 8 or 9 years, off -n- on for reloading information and recipes to try out before posting so I could share supply info. I didn't get caught too short on anything but a lot of the folks I care about did. If you aren't going to help other people, why bother keeping alive?

Thanks to all the mods (even the one or two who also like to troll once and awhile ) and don't forget: this place is a dot-org, not a dot-com and that changes the rules a whole bunch.
