i saw some super detailed models of Corsairs and Mustangs that were up there in that price range. The engines were fully functional! Rockers, valves, pistons, non-combustable of course. The stick was actually cabled up to the control surfaces. Actual Goodyear rubber tires with authentic 1943 era tread, etc. Great looking things.

Can you imagine having a $30,000 MODEL sitting on your coffee table? Makes you wonder how much the coffee table is, eh? :D
