So I was at a local gunshop looking at 22LRs and they had something I've never seen before. The Walther Model 1 .22LR self-loading bolt action. The idea is that it acts like a semi by using blowback, but you can lock the bolt closed by rotating a bolt knob. I had never seen such a beast before and was intrigued.

The internet turns up surprisingly little information pertaining to this model, with the exception of an exploded parts diagram linked here: http://www.emilitarymanuals.com/images/exgundialg/Walther model 1.jpg
Nowhere can I find one for sale to get an idea of what the market for these things looks like

I seem to remember them asking around $300 for it and would like to know if thats anywhere near what the going rate is for these fun little rifles. The example I looked at appeared to be in good to excellent condition.

I don't try to follow dollar values much but if it is in NRA Good condition it is probably worth $300; if it is truly in NRA Excellent condition, it is worth a good deal more. One thing to be sure of... does it have a magazine and if so, is it in good condition? Replacements are $95 from Earl's.

There is one thread on the rifle, mixed in with a lot of KKJ stuff, on rimfirecentral.
