Saw the article on the cover of American Riflemen regarding the Swat tacticle light by surefire(featured on a Kimber).....

Looking for the ideal lighting system for the purposes of blinding an intruder...the kind of system that is attached to the P99 and sits everready inside my bedside code lock box...

So heres the scenario...."honey whats that??? A home invasion??(they happen frequently in San Jose)...so I do the code right?..grab the P99 Walther(or S&W)...(bought the walther when S&W failed us all)...turn on the blinding light...wouldnt even need my glasses cuz its so powerfull and enter the hallway....Got it??

1)....what is the make and model of the light system that I should buy?

2) Is this a good plan? I have other 9's but they dont have attachement rails....Is this a solid combo???

Thanks for your thoughts.

I like the simple 1' mag flashlight companion....good mallet to throw if needed and not a bad weapon when used simply as a club.

Heard Savage last week credit a NY Police commissioner for saying "more law comes from the end of a billy club than all of the Supreme Court."

I've been looking at the Surefire Nitrolon w/ pressure switch for my USP 45. Nice set up & comes w/ uprgrade bulb. I like the switch so I don't have to give up any advantage I may have, knowing my house well enough I can walk through it in the dark. I only want that light on to verify a potential target.
