I use to own a Walther PP and a PPk in .32acp and I have recently been considering buying a PP in .22LR (not to be confused with Walther's P-22). It was my experience that the PP and PPk tended to be finicky about feeding different kinds of ammo. Is this also true of the PP in .22LR?
Does anyone on this forum own a PP in .22LR, and if so what is your opinion/experience of it/with it? Thanx.

Love 'em. A neat pocket gun for woods carry and with good plinking accuracy. In my experience, very reliable. If the gun is German made or pre-WWII, I recommend standard velocity ammo. If the gun is new, try to get a couple of extra magazines.

i also love my pp in.22, even with it's heavy DA trigger and always lurking razor sharp slide bottom. mine was inported before the '68 ban and runs flawlessly with CCI minimags. winchester T-22 is a bit wimpy, but will work in a pinch. the CCI stinger (and other hyper loads) usually won't make it through a whole mag

i've been doing fine with 4 mags, 2 with and 2 without finger extensions
