Walther PPS

Has anyone held, fired, or carried this weapon? I've been considering it for CCW, but cannot find one to actually examine. Experiences would be welcome.:banghead:

Thanks for throwing that question out. Like you, I'm very interested in them but suspect they must be thin to the point of invisibility. Have never seen one anywhere in my neck of the woods.

There is one at my local Gander - they want too much for it. I hald it. Being so thin actually make the gun not as comfortable to hold as my P99 compact. Also, the gun really isn't different enough in size from my P99c to buy it - It's about the same size in all dimensions but thickness - and that difference isn't that great.

I suppose that if I did not have the P99c, I'd look at it harder. But, it's not worth me buying it right now. And, it has the QA trigger - not the A/S.

Shipwreck

I had the same feeling as you when I checked one out last week. Granted, it's small; definitely in the .380 sized realm. But I thought it was too thin, just didn't feel comfortable in my hand. It was a First Edition and was a little under $800.

As soon as I fondle one, I'll decide if I want to get it to augment/replace my PPK/S.
