Well after not attending a gun show in 20 years I thought it was time to checkout the "BIG" one. billed as the worlds largest. Well it cost us $10 each to get in and had to park almost a mile away. But we enjoy walking Really nice weather here. The show was packed being the first day. Many dealers two levels full. I did not see any real deals on Glocks or 1911s I only found one SIG 220 ST he was asking $1000. lots of holsters and Ammo. I found only one guy with some Rem. GoldenSaber 45 230gr JHP going for $12.95 I picked up two 25rd boxs for carry. Found a Glock take down manual "copyed fair"$5.00 I fould the Comp-Tac holster booth looked for a fullsized 1911 RH but they only had a LH Guy said if I paid for it at show he would ship it Monday from HO TX for $49 and they would pay shipping. Hey it's only $47 on their Web site so he was not giving away the farm for me I did see a gut looking at a Surefire X200 they had it marked $219 he offered $200 and it was a deal. I see them on the Net. for $189 I know the dealers have to eat. The wife did notice something "she is really watchful" saw this dealer get paid $2000 in crisp $100 bills and the dealer just handed two guns in boxs to him. No paperwork just cash and carry. With all the ATF guys always watching the gun shows that dealer had balls Really dangerous for him me thinks. Anyway I enjoyed looking at all the stuff but I feel there was not any real deals being done legally anyway. I guess it's my last show but one never knows:
