I am looking for a Remington 7600 Carbine in 35 Rem. If anyone has one they would consider getting rid of shoot me a email. I have cash and leaving on a deer hunting trip in 14 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

760 Gamemaster

I seen that one on Gun Broker, and it is in GREAT shape, but I dont like the feel of the 760 stock. I know thats petty B.S. The 7600 just feels better to me (smaller pistol grip & Monte Carlo stock). My friend has 2 of the 35 Carbines, but will not part with them. I have considered taking one of the 22 inch guns and having it cut & crowned but though I would search for the real thing first.............Do any of you guys know how many that was produced? I even contacted Remington in my search and they kinda rushed me off the phone, no help there...........

Grice

I have called them. I have also searched Gun Broker, Guns America, Davidsons, Remington, all my local pawn & gun shops, local collecters, a guy I have done business with in Oklahoma that has a warehouse full of guns, numerous forums, Googled it, even talked to a guy in Canada (that spoke in French I think) all with no luck! I have just about ran out of options............

You are looking for a rifle that

#1 Very few were ever made
#2 The people who do own them rarely sell

It may take years to find exactly what you want. I wouldn't count on getting one in time to hunt with this year.

I would think that a Marlin 336 in 35 Rem would be something to consider on short notice, for plan "B", if you have a plan "B".
They are great guns and you can always get your money back on one of those. You might even like it.

It is my plan A. The 336 in 35 is my favorite deer rifle. Slicker than snot on a brass door knob.

336

I have 2 of the Marlin 336's in 35 Remington, and I agree they are great deer guns. I have been looking for the 7600 Carbine for about 3 years now. :banghead:

Crap, I just traded off a mint 141 in .35 about a month ago. Literally, it was factory fresh.
