Rem 7600, engraved by factory?

I saw a nice Rem 7600 with some engraving on the receiver, that looked mighty purdy. One side had bear and the other, some deer in the woods. Did Remington offer the 7600 in a model with engraving, or is this a custom thing. Its really got my interest.

Yes it is factory engraving a buddy owns one. Its a 2004 limited edition model according to the box A couple of bears on one side and two deer on the other..His was in 30-06 w/ iron sights..
