I would like to have a knife made for my personal use. As this knife is sized to my hand and body the specs are pretty much non negotiable. I love the Esee 5 and 6 but want something in between the two. The blade design is perfect but the length should be right in between. The scales need to be more contoured and not blocky, to prevent hot spots, and not quite so rough textured, but not smooth. And finally, I want it in Elmax. Does anyone know of a maker willing to make such a knife?

There's a ton, but you'll want to trace your hand out and measure lengths of index and middle finger and thumb as well as palm diameter to provide grip info. You'll also need to pick from what "contoured" means because that's a general term. I recommend scanning through Knife Center or Blade HQ pictures until you hit on a grip you like the look of. With that done you should be able to get a maker to build what you want.
