I picked up a few lbs of this powder to try out. In my .45 ACP and 10MM I've had really good luck with it.

Yesterday I decided to load some 9mm on my Hornady LnL AP. In 200 rounds I had 34 short drops. Today I did 200 rounds of .38 SPL on the Hornady and had 37 short drops.

The powder works fine in my Dillon powder measure. However through two different Hornady powder measures it was bridging in the base of the measure. I never had a long drop. In fact it would sometimes drop 2-3 shorts in a row.

If you're going to load this powder make sure to have some sort of positive powder check on your press. I was loading 3.5 grs on the .38 SPL and the short drops were anywhere from 1.1 grs to 2.3 grs. I know my eyes would have a hard time catching that 2.3 gr drop in a .38 SPL case.

Again, Dillon powder measure is no problem. Two different Hornady powder measures had the same problem. I also ran some Titegroup and Unique through the Hornady measures with no problem.
Semper Fi!

It was very sensitive to static when I tried it. Between that, how hard it is to see in the case, and the lack luster performance in the application I tried it in, puts it on the back burner for me. Nothing special. Just MHO after a small sampling and others may find they love it. :)

I tested IMR Target in this thread - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...-and-vectan-ba-9-5-ba-9.817796/#post-10508215

As you can see from the comparison picture, Target is a small flake powder. While W231/HP-38 meters with less than .1 gr variance for me, Target metered with .2 gr variance for my Pro Auto Disk - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...-and-vectan-ba-9-5-ba-9.817796/#post-10508215

.46 Auto Disk = 4.0 - 4.1 gr
.49 Auto Disk = 4.2 - 4.3 gr
.53 Auto Disk = 4.5 - 4.6 gr

Despite the .2 gr variance, muzzle velocities were relatively consistent and depending on the powder charge, produced small shot groups (Glock 22 with KKM 9mm conversion barrel):

RMR 115 gr FMJ:
4.0-4.1 gr: 1008-981-991-1023-1034 fps
4.2-4.3 gr: 1049-1053-1067-1055-1085 fps
4.5-4.6 gr: 1162-1166-1138-1110-1151 fps

RMR 115 gr Hardcore Match RN:
4.0-4.1 gr: 986-1002-1071-975-1002 fps
4.2-4.3 gr: 1024-1054-1030-1036-1030 fps

RMR 124 gr Hardcore Match RN:
4.0-4.1 gr: 959-991-984-986-931 fps
4.2-4.3 gr: 1049-1033-1018-1063-1046 fps

25 yard 10 round shot groups with 17" Just Right carbine - RMR 115 gr FMJ at 1.130"
IMR Target 4.5-4.6 gr (Left), 4.2-4.3 gr (Center) and 4.0-4.1 gr (Right)

Large flake powders do not meter well for me.
Trail Boss will bridge the aperture of my Redding Model 3 with the micro pistol meter bar.

IMR green and red look like small frisbees. How large are the wafers compared to Unique?
