Just as a general warning to people, if you see a new message thread from a just-joined new member, and it doesn't make any sense or seems not relevant, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT click on any links they might have included, unless you want spyware or worse on your computer.
These are generated by lowlife scum, often in places like Nigeria, China and former Balkan states, then spread by hijacked PCs here.
The links are either clickthrough-profit links that give them money every time they're clicked through, a form of fraud, or they're trick links to sites that will try to install spyware, viruses or exploits on your computer.
Unfortunately, it looks like some "situational awareness" is needed here, now.
