Has anyone had nay experience with warranty for Beretta or CZ?
I've heard great things about Sig and S&W which both carry a lifetime warranty, and Glock even though officially onky 1 year if you pay for shipping it's basically a lifetime warranty as well.

I've never had any issue with CZ warrantee service. I only owned one Beretta and I didn't keep it long. Not a bad gun, just didn't fit me.

I have and have had a bunch of Beretta pistols, only one new a 92X performance. It went back to Beretta TWICE (for extended periods of time) because the fitment of the slide to frame was very poor making it impossible to remove the slide without a rubber hammer.

BOTH times it came back NDF but the second time it had the frame filed where the lower barrel lug mated. This was my first experience with Beretta service. I couldn't fault them for the time it spent there too much, as the delays were blamed on COVID issues, but claiming the gun was NDF was clearly just them wanting to fluff it off as "tight tolerances"... BS

I ultimately shelved the 9mm upper and replaced it with .40 / .357 Sig slides and I'm happy I took a chance on the gun.

PS, Given Beretta handguns are generally pretty trouble free, I'd buy a Beretta again any day.

Gun1: Can't help with any warranty info.

For what it might be worth, my CZ PCR (corrected spell) was bought retail, barely used, about three years ago.

At least 800 rds. used and this rugged, extremely well-designed gun has zero issues.
Indirectly, its quality helped persuade me to buy another Czech gun - the Czechpoint/CSA VZ-58 sport utility rifle.

My first Czech gun was a CZ-82 and I immed. understood ;) Czech pride and engineering skills . Not exaggerating in the least about any of this.
I would literally buy one of their guns sight unseen if it had the characteristics I like.

I own 6 CZ's. I had feed issues with one, my SP01. After the second trip back to CZ for this issue I received a call from them telling me they were replacing it. The CZ rep couldn't have been more helpful. I wasn't upset about the situation as it happens and CZ went out of their way to make it right, but their rep felt terrible about the situation and apologized for the inconvenience repeatedly. It was nice talking to someone who cares about their product and customers. The SP01 hasn't had a malfunction since they replaced it and I have more rounds than I can count through them collectively, well over 10,000 between the 6. Other than the issue with the SP01 they've been flawless.

I had a Beretta 92 FS that the frame had a piece break off where the slide comes back and impacts it. It was a late 80's early 90's auto that was a gift to my then girlfriend. Many tens of thousands of rounds thru it. Beretta told me they considered it to have reached its end of life. I have a .22 upper I am going to use it to host.

When I got my 96A1 in 2013 it came with the standard 1 yr. warranty. They gave the option for another 2 yrs. if you registered it with them. Other than the captured plastic guide rod becoming uncaptured and being replaced twice in the first 3 yrs. I have had no problems. According to the beretta forum, it seems like the cs at Beretta has taken a nose dive. My CZ75 was warrantied for 5 yrs. Have had no problems with it.

Whatever happened to lifetime warranties?? Oh Hi-Point has one, you can buy one that is say 10 years old and went thru 10 other owners, throw it in a ditch and whomever finds it has a lifetime warranty on that firearm. Sort of like Dillon reloading presses, if it is blue it is warrantied.

No issue with warranty service.

Purchased a new CZ 712. Discovered the included chokes did not seal in the barrel and was shaving wad/burnt powder between the barrel and choke.

As the barrels are serial numbered to the receiver, they replaced the 712 with new.

Warranty 712 arrived and had the same condition. Did not fire a round through it. Returned again

Third 712 arrived WITH a note from the chief gunsmith. Shotgun shoots well and choke to barrel fit is spot on.

I've been a CZ fan for many years and have participated in CZ-related online forums during this time. The widespread consensus has been that CZ warranty support is great, but you should CALL them, not try to communicate via e-mail.

My own personal experience is of course much smaller than the huge online community, but I've had 29 different CZ rifles and handguns so far, and I've needed warranty work on 1 of them, a 550 with safety detents that weren't in the correct positions. I normally do all my own work, but since it was a safety issue, I wanted CZ gunsmiths to fix it, and they did.

When NJ went to 10 round mags, no grandfathering, I called CZ for 10 round springs for my 14 round mags so I could convert them. I tried ordering them online first, but couldn't find any. The guy I spoke to said they weren't in stock but he would take a look and see what they had there. About a week later I received an envelope with 4 10 round springs and metal base plates, no charge.

CZ has the best warranty. I say this because I have never had to use the warranty for anything. I own five CZ firearms. Never a problem with any. The best warranty is one you never use.
