Are these any good? I have heard bad things about these and i dont like the stocks they have on them but i was wonderin if they are worth buying?

I had one for a while, no problems. I did, however, promptly replace the side-folding stock that came on it for one from Tapco. How does it stack up to other AKs? I cant really say as it was my first and only experience with one. I will say, however, that if/when the time comes for me to get another AK, I would certainly not rule it out.

I bought two, and sold one, meaning that I still have one. They are inexpensive (some say cheap), but they fire whenever I pull the trigger. For me, it's an inexpensive plinker, and not much else. It looks cool, barks loudly, recoils fairly soft and is cheap to feed. What more can you ask for $299.00?!

Some people like them but they are generally considered to be the bottom of the barrel in the AK world.

$299, you didnt buy that AK in the last year, they are going for about $400 and more nowadays.

I like mine. Fairly smooth operation, no canted sights, good barrel, and it's a lot more accurate than people make them out to be.

If I had to do it again, though, I would go the Saiga route. It'd end up being more expensive, but not by much.
