Hi folks
Just found out about. Waterloo 200 it's a project that's being put together by a Waterloo committee leading up to the bicentenary of the battle
From what I've been told there is a website
I intend to find out as much information as I can and post it here for those interested in Napoleonic warfare.
The photo is of a 95th rifleman holding my latest creation look the part I think
Keep looking and I will put as much info as I can here
Many kind regards Bob

Of interest last night they held a battle and it rained very fine rain within 15 mins they could not fire their guns must have been a happy thing for the soldiers of the day I bet they prayed for the stuff

Brits at Waterloo

Poppycock the Brits were there and made a good show there is no animosity between the re-enactors and all go there to relive history wear flamboyant uniforms and have o lot of fun in the process
That's a bit like saying you won't let the US civil war groups reenact the battle of Gettysburg in case the south don't like it.
Go to www.Waterloo200 .com and read about the plans for 2015
Have fun Bob
