Waxahatchie Gun Show: Anyone going this weekend?

I've never been to it, but I heard the ad for it today. Any of you ever get down there, and is it worth the drive from the DFW area? Good slection, a lot of knives, gourmet beef jerky?! Let's hear it! geegee

Never Been. I like Market Hall, Will Rogers and Big Town in that order. I'd like to hear how Waxahatchie compares. I live in the mid-cities, so it is much farther than those above.

I've never been but based on the "table count" it appears to be very small.

Big Town = 1000 tables
Mesquite Rodeo = 450 tables
Waxahatchie = 250 tables

I guess we're all going to the same ones, but that sounds like a pretty small show (compared to the others). Bit of a drive too, as I live near Grapevine. It probably will depend on how short my "honey-do" list is, whether or not I make it! geegee

I might go for one day. I bought a concealment vest at the Mesquite show a couple of weeks ago without trying to fit my primary CCW in the pocket. I need to attempt a swap for the next sive up, I'm afraid. I'm really glad I didn't rip the tag off before I got home.

Hopefully they'll be nice and understanding of my impulsive purchasing nature and have plenty of the size I desire. I know they plan to be there. I'd better make a phone call today as soon as I get home to confirm, though.

Given said impulsive buying nature, they'll probably like seeing me there, irregardless.
