I was surfing the web, looking for powder for my AR. I came across Pats reloading. They were out of stock, but I saw something that I have to ask about. They listed WC844 and WC844T. They also listed WC846 (BLC2) and WC846T. The site says the powder with the "T" designation is for ball and tracer bullets. My reloading books don't show any powder with the "T" designation. What is the difference, if any?

I believe the T designation indicates it burns hotter. Made specifically for helping to ignite tracer ammo. I don't know if it would cause more barrel wear but I don't think I would use it as a generally reloading powder if others were available .....

Thanks for the input. After posting, I did some more searching and found more info in the "T" powders. I believe my curiosity has been satisfied.
