We all have favorites

I own quite a few and there’s just something about my 686 that just works! I was shocked to group as well as I did with such a short barrel. Plus the grips are phenomenal.
I used to shoot clay pigeons at the 100 yard berm with it. Hit one about once a cylinder. Really proves short barrels can shoot, it’s just tougher with the shorter sight radius

My favorite revolver? Well, it will be a S&W, 45 ACP revolver, but which one? I have 4”, 5 1/2”, and 6 1/2” barrels.

I carry a 4” daily but really enjoy my Model 1917s. My 6 1/2 Target revolvers are fun also.

Hmmm, decisions, decisions! I will need to get back to you on that question…

I'd have to give the nod to the Bisley Blackhawk 45 on the left. The Super Black on the right was my very first, and for a long time my only, revolver.
The Bisley I got a few yrs back, wasn't such a good shooter. The chambers were all over the place small. I sent it out for a hone job, and it's as good in my hands as my FA83 357. It has a great trigger, and I can comfortably shoot it all day with its favorite 8.1gr True Blue/255SWC load. Of all my centerfires, it is usually out with whatever I initially planned to shoot that session. It won't be going anywhere til they read the will

My favorite gun depends on the task the gun is meant for. I like j-frame revolvers or micro semi-autos for concealed carry.

I would not expect these guns to be very effective against dangerous game.

On the other side, my 460XVR does not make a good concealed carry gun

All that said, I’m a 1911 junkie so about any 1911 is a favorite.

I also like my S&W Model 25 revolvers. I have examples in several barrel lengths in 25 Colt (-5) and 45 ACP (-2).

But, both of these styles of guns are not very concealable as my J-frames or my Colt Mustang type pistols.
