Yeah I guess if you got nothing $40 per 1k is ok. Personally I'd spend my $40 elsewhere but to each his own.

I'm buying primers in the morning - $32.95 a box for large rifle/pistol, $30 for small rifle/pistol. I'd pass on $40 if I had a choice.

Academy in Ft. Smith Arkansas was stocking their shelves yesterday with primers at the same price. Pretty good profit margin for them. It seemed to me all their prices were higher than I remember.

No significant number of decent primers in the San Antonio, TX area.
Some gun ranges and shops have them for sale by the 100. At my practice range they were proud to have 600 SPPs on hand at $6/100.:-(

I got primers in Pittsburgh on Friday. They had a ton of them. Also a little high, but i got a little.

I just moved from El Paso 4 months ago and they weren't stocking primers. Do you know when they started this?

No primers in NE PA as of yet!

As of Saturday morning Cabela's in Hamburg had CCI small pistol @ $40/1000.

Since I was completely out I picked up 2k. I think they have a 2 box limit posted but I couldn't say if they are actually enforcing it.

They had tons of Federal Large Pistol.

Looks like local retailers are getting supplies in while online still looks sold out.

Went to 2 different places Saturday and both had primers in stock. No small rifle, but they had everything else.
Price was about $39.99/1k, but its been that way here locally since I started loading. The only way to get them cheaper here is to order online, and I've never bought in bulk to take advantage of that. I need to.

The Webster, TX Academy had both WLR and WLR magnum primers yesterday as well. $3.99 per 100. What is special about this is they don't carry reloading supplies at Academy!! This is a positive turn.
