MISSOURI CONCEALED CARRY CLASS
Last Saturday August 25th, the First Missouri Concealed Carry Class was completed at the beautiful Rocking W Ranch in Cedar County, MO. It was a warm and clear day after the rain of the last couple of days. The instructors for this class were Chuck Warrick and Roy Weber.
The students learned the rules of safe gun handling, the different types of concealed firearms, proper care and storage of the firearm and ammunition, range safety and operations. After learning the range safety rules they went through live firing on the range. After a lunch provided by the Instructors, the students went over Missouri gun laws to satisfy the training requirements for a Missouri CCW endorsement as describes in 571.094 RSMo; it also satisfies the training requirement for a non-resident permit. The students were provided a booklet with all the training information and a written test on both the firearms and Missouri laws.
Chuck Warrick and Roy Weber both work part time with Cedar and Vernon Counties Sheriff Departments and are well trained to deliver these classes, being life long shooters, NRA Certified Pistol Instructors and having received Law Enforcement firearms Training at the Missouri State Law Enforcement Academy.
