We need a "Gun Buy Back Alert"

No, I wouldn't be interested in doing business with them.

Ever wonder why they call them a "gun buy back" when they never owned them in the first place?

By the way. Do they hold these things in places where you have to do any paperwork on face to face private sales? How do they get around that if they do.

Just thought of this though. Back in the 60's my Grandfather did a lot of "relic hunting" for Civil War relics around Richmond. He found a bunch of old Colt and Remington black power revolvers that were just a gun shaped block of rust. It would be funny to take a few of those in and "turn them in."

The term buy-back is deceiving from the get-go. I wonder if changing the name to what it is (gun buy) would change turnout.
I'll not be doing business with them. There are other ways to get money than bolstering the anti's number of "guns off the streets" and allowing them to declare the "buy back" a success.

I'll sell them all the zip guns I can make. When's the next buy-back?

They will do whatever it takes to convince the average citizen that:

"You are too stupid to be trusted with guns"!...

That's really they're objective here. :barf:

I wonder if I could get away with organizing a gun buyback of my own? Make it look real official, with big posters about getting dangerous guns off the street (wouldn't mention the part about where they'd end up once they were off the street... in my safe!) I'd give people $50 or $100 per gun that they turn in. All the guns I wanted for $50-100/gun. I'd hold an ammunition buyback the following week, and perhaps a scope buyback the week after that. :)

Don't Feed The Bears

Ever been to Yellowstone?

Seen them signs?

Wonder why they have them?

They don't yet have signs saying "Don't Poke The Badger" but I imagine they figure nobody's quite that stupid (all evidence to the contrary notwithstanding).

Don't encourage them.

Just don't.

That ain't your daddy's shotgun, Cowboy

You could announce the guns would be "taken off the streets" and "destroyed" but don't say that your method would be to shoot them to death.

You have to remember that among the guns the liberals pay our children to steal from us, are stolen guns, broken guns, and stuff that you would have to tie a nickel to to say you threw something away and some that would land you in Club Fed as a guest for some time to come.
Around here, they give sneakers for guns. When I lived in Virginia, I believe the going price was $25. After the buy was over, they realized they bought a load of non-working air pistols/rifles, and things that were too rusty to use.
They changed it to "a working firearm," at the next liberal futility exercise.
