Domestic spying necessary to protect nation
Published on December 24, 2005

The reports that the National Security Agency was engaged in spying on domestic communications, whether true or not, is really very necessary and should not be questioned by the liberal left wing.

It is high time the liberals and the left-wingers start to realize that we're at war with an enemy that still wants to attack us. If in fact President Bush authorized spying, eavesdropping or snooping on certain communication, he was 100 percent in the right in doing so since this protects our safety and security in the war on terror.

Our president and administration are doing everything possible to protect the country within the laws and it is high time the liberals and left wing in this country wake up and show some support in the war on terror instead of their constant criticism and opposition to what the administration and the president are trying to accomplish.

As a Vietnam War veteran with over 40 years of active federal government service, I fully support the president and the administration and the conduct of the war against terror. I detest the liberals and left wing that are constantly finding fault where there is no fault.

The sad reality about humanity is that most people are slaves, first in their minds, and then, politically. America by contruction was settled by a fluctuation of free men and prevented from thermalization by a constant influx of such. But I guess, shifting to the mean is starting to win over?
