we shot 12 total rounds of trap last evening and it was nice, a nice crowd, nice weather and tough shooters. i squeeked in a win by one bird with a 22-25,23-25,25-25,24-25 for a 94-100 useing my BT-100. the shotguns used were browning, remington, ithaca, cerser greenie, mossberg, bikal. brownings out numbered the rest by better that four to one. there were no maufuctions with any of the shotguns with factory or reloads. i wish we could interest more young people and women shooters, i always take a rem 1100X frame 20ga and a browning citori 20ga in case a new shooter shows up with no shotgun. eastbank.

Looks like a good time, had to google cerser greenie; Never seen Caesar Guerini written like that before...like the BT-100.

yea my spelling leaves a little to be desired, no a lot to be desired. ceasar guerine is a super o/u and the owner does well with it. eastbank.

One of the few lines of Trap guns I haven't had a chance to shoot. I looked at the Trap guns while at the website, very nice!

I have been drooling over a 28 gauge Caesar Guerini at a higher end gun shop, but I just couldn't get enough trading stock to get the $3500 shotgun, but man was it nice and shouldered like it was meant for me. Had a real nice Beretta 28 gauge that was only $3100.

I always enjoy reading your posts eastbank. I've only been shooting trap for a few months and your posts are incouraging.
At the only match I've shot in so far browning pretty much owns the show by 4 to 1 or more though I have seen lujic, perazzi, Remington's and Beretta on the line. Even an old Parker.
Our club has a 4H shoot every 2nd Saturday of the month ranging from 10-16 I guess. Some of those whipper snappers are pretty darn good.

the younger shooters kick my butt at sporting clays, the best i ever shot was a 42-50 and that was over my head. 35,37-50 is about right for me, but at trap i kick their butts and at skeet i hold my own. for me its all about fun, i,ll try to beat you, but if i don,t i,ll tell you good going and buy you a beer or soda after. if you are given advice from a good shooter pay attenion, it could help you get to a higher level and most of all have FUN. eastbank.
