What we have here is a single mom with a daughter, that are part of a tight bunch I know, informing me they have a shotgun, they want to name after me.

To put all this into perspective...

When the daughter was learning to drive at age 13, we used the old farm truck with the worn re-cap rear tires, and two front tires with cord showing, with no brakes.

For if one learns on a crutch, and they lose that crutch, they will fall down

Hey, the daughter might be in a situation where the brakes fail, so it makes sense to me and her mom to let the young lady learn to drive without brakes.

Mom is shooting a shotgun from the bed of the truck, for practice.
I had a FLGR I had removed from a 1911 clone, and we had a gate needing a gate pin.

Say what you want, still this young lady can flat drive!
She knows how to feather a emergency brake.
She has also had some private offensive , and defensive driving lessons.

Daughter has her pet 870 20 ga, and she can run it faster than many can a semi-auto.
She will stand at near low 8 on a skeet field, except in direct line with the 4" clay, coming at her pretty face and without the bird being called for - shoot that clay from low gun.
Some call this a Tueller Drill.
To her, *shrug* she knows her safe distance.
High 8 she can break halfway into the house.

I grin, her mom grins and the young lady does a head tilt and wink.

Her mom, has this "Burpee Seed Gun". A single shot .410 that if one were to set it on a shelf with Seed packages at the Feed & Seed store, it blends in.

So me and mine really don't know how some folks do things, like raise kids, just we do things our way and really don't care if folks get their underwear all knotted up.
Sounds like a personal problem to us...

This mom and daughter know a few things about me and my past , and so....

H&R Topper, Youth 20 ga single shot , with fixed modified choke bone stock has been tweaked and is named after me.

- Pachmayer Decelerator recoil pad.
-Wood sanded and left rough into what is called "burlap bag" finish.
Then a real "rough satin" finish.
-Barb-wire tattoo , which simply was heating up real barb wire and applying to wood.
-45 ACP brass fashioned into the butt cap.
-Whiskey Still , the old copper "moon shine" , has been painted onto the stock.
-Gadsden Flag.
-Zippo Lighter ( brass)
-Lucky Strike L.S.M.F.T and in war era green.
-Keep on Trucking...
-Kilroy was here...
-Yellow with black racing stripes
-Tie Dye
-Ray Ban Aviators
-Black Lab

etc.

Collage of things I have shared, passed forward not only to them, also others on a damn shotgun.

Over a mantle on a special wall hanger with a old time looking tin sign design with HELL Ave, which stands for hit else lose life, the name of a range, wherever a range was/is used for some serious lessons is this shotgun.
There is a 2 3/4" Brenneke in the chamber, and five more in the butt cuff.
