My hunting buddy has a Weatherby 30-378.My question: Should it have a one piece scope mount base? After firing several rounds the scope becomes off center.

Reccomend DeadNUTZ Gamereaper one piece base AND Ring combo on that cannon. Only sporting style combo I know of that will hold up to any recoil the scope will.

I have a 375 h&h and have used the talley one piece with great results.

Yep, a one piece would maintain better rigidity.

Yep, 120 grains of "go" powder will move a lot of things....

What do you mean by off center POI or what?

What kind of mounts and scope?

I bought my 30-378 about a dozen years ago. Just used Leupold.... 2 piece duel dovetail mounts. Never had an issue like that.

Mine has about 380 rounds thru it over the years. Haven't had to adjust the scope since I settled on a load more than ten years ago.
