Weaver V9a focus issue

First off, I’ve searched and cannot find anything on it. Just got a Weaver V9a and it comes into focus real well at 3x. So I raise the power, and it will not come into focus. Went the entire adjustment length, and no good. Not looking to put more money into it, so is there anything I could try to repair it? Could just leave it at 3x, but what’s the point of even mounting it then? Thanks

At what range are you looking? Those scopes should be focused from the factory at 150yds, the higher you go up in power, the more noticeable focus issues become. I personally cant use scopes without an image focus ability over about 10x.
The ocular focus is simply to get your crosshair good and sharp.
